And because of this some retailers find they have plenty left over after the summer rush. It doesn’t make sense to have all that stock sitting around throughout the winter. Stock costs money to store and the longer it sits around the more money it costs the retailer.

If you have already started browsing through the large collection of garden parasols that are available today, you will have noticed they come in various colours as well as sizes.

We all hanker for those really sunny days of summer that seem to go on forever. But although we might love the sun we need to be conscious of getting burnt as well. Sunburn is not pleasant and if we get caught out we can suffer the consequences long after the sun has gone down.

Lots of people have a garden parasol to use with their garden table and chairs. But they don’t always get the best use out of it that they could. For example, they might regularly sit outside and use the table and chairs to enjoy an al fresco meal in the evenings. This is particularly true when it comes to colour. The most traditional colour parasol you can get is a plain green one. This tends to be a plain mossy green colour, and it suits most gardens well. This is probably why it is the most frequently seen colour of all. It blends well with the background of greenery in the garden, and as such it won’t stick out and be hugely noticeable.

If you thought the only type of parasol you could buy was one to feed through the middle of a garden table, you would be wrong. One type of parasol you can find more easily now is a freestanding one, which has plenty of benefits to commend it.

When you are in the market for a brand new garden parasol, you might be surprised by the prices that they are available for. The cheapest ones are often available for as little as Ј15 or so – and this is referring to the proper, full size parasols that are suitable for a table built for four people.
