Buying Parasols With Integrated Lighting

Tuesday June 8, 2010

Many of us love to string patio lights from our garden parasols so we can shed some more light on a barbecue or other get together we’re having. But it can sometimes be tricky to do this if we don’t know what lights will fit the parasol we already have. Not all parasols are the same shape and size and not all sets of lights will fit them.

To this end we have to think about how to match both of them together, and if you happen to be thinking about buying a brand new garden parasol this is the best time to do just that.

What’s more, you will be glad to know you can buy parasols which have the lights already built in. These look wonderful because the lights are designed for that particular parasol, meaning you can use the parasol without having to worry about putting up the lights all the time.

This is obviously much better for you since the lights are already built in and easier to use. There are no wires to be wound around the struts of the parasol, so you can simply get it out, open it up and switch on the lights. That’s all there is to it – it’s a quick and easy way to enjoy good lighting in your garden while you are sitting at your patio table.

In addition to this some of the garden parasols you can buy which have built in lights have solar lights instead of battery or mains powered ones. This is even better because it won’t cost you anything to use them or plug them in. As the parasol is up during a sunny day it will store up the sunlight to provide light when the sun goes down. You can sit under your parasol and enjoy good lighting well into the evening by using solar powered lights that are built in like this.

Clearly there is another advantage to this as well. This is the fact that there are no wires or trailing plugs to think about when you use solar lighting. All you have to do is put up your parasol and enjoy the shade it gives you as a result. Just imagine being able to enjoy a nice meal under the lights of your new garden parasol. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful way to enjoy a later evening as the sun goes down?
