The unseasonably warm weather has certainly got everyone in the UK talking. March wasn’t a bad month by any stretch, and England managed to enjoy the warmest April ever recorded. It also ranked very highly in terms of sunshine and the lack of rain. Of course most gardeners will be praying for some rain by now, but you cannot deny that we’re all enjoying the weather and hoping it will continue – for a while at least.
This has been good news for retailers selling items including garden parasols, as they would not normally have started their season until later on in the year. This means there has been a good demand for parasols and other items of garden furniture. So if you haven’t already got your garden ready for what could be a memorably long spring and summer, make sure you do so now.
If you have only just got around to getting your parasol out of the shed, check it over before you use it. Even if you are intending to get a new one you may still want to use the old one in the meantime. Just be sure it is safe though and no parts are broken.
Now it’s time to get some shade in the garden and take a look at some of the brand new parasols you could buy! Look for early season bargains and special deals – they’re not just in the shops, they’re on websites as well. Watch out for deals that may give you money off for buying a parasol base as well. Even though you may already have one, it may not match your new garden parasol when you buy it.
You only have to take a look at the weather to see that there is a very good chance the warm weather is going to continue for the foreseeable future. Some have predicted it to last into June or July, with others speculating on one of the best summers in years. Whatever happens, you’ll need a nice parasol to help you shelter from the sun while it’s here.
