How can I find the range of garden parasols they sell?
It is quite easy once you start looking along the row of departments listed in the grey bar you will see on their site. The garden section is at the very right hand end. Hover over that word and then click on ‘furniture’ when it appears underneath it.

Do they have plenty of garden parasols for sale?
The range depends on what they have in stock at any one time. When we visited the site the only parasols available were those that came complete with an outdoor dining set.
This is ideal if you are going to buy a complete garden table and chairs set with a parasol included. Otherwise, bookmark the site for when new parasols become available. They will be in this dedicated section when they do.
Is there a lot of useful information on their site?
Yes, the Tesco Direct website is very good at packing a lot of information into the space they have. Furthermore they also give you a lot of other details and links elsewhere on the site.
The main results page will have a picture of the item along with the complete title and catalogue number for it. You can see the parasol quite clearly in the picture, even if it comes with a set of garden furniture as well.
If you click through to a specific item there will be a bigger picture you can make even bigger if you wish. The link to do so is underneath the picture. It will load in the same page and there may also be further images on the right hand side that you can click on to make those bigger as well.
If your chosen parasol is indeed part of a set you will be able to scroll down and read the details for the parasol entirely apart from the rest of the items included. The parasol will have two tabs – one for a description and one for features. The description is fairly short and sweet but it does tell you what the frame and cover are both made from. It will also reveal the size of the parasol – i.e. the diameter – and how it is put up as well. For example it could be done simply by pushing it up and putting a pin through the pole, or by a wind up mechanism or crank handle. Make sure it is what you are looking for either way.
